DAVIDSON COUNTY LAWYER TRANSFERRED TO ACTIVE STATUS
By Order of the Tennessee Supreme Court entered December 10, 2019, the law license of Michael
Leonard Underhill was transferred from disability inactive status to active status pursuant to Section 27.8 of
Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9.
On September 12, 2018, Mr. Underhill was placed on disability inactive status. Mr. Underhill filed a
Petition for Transfer to Active Status on November 15, 2019 demonstrating that his disability had been removed
and he was eligible to return to the active practice of law. The Board filed a response on December 3, 2019
noting no objection to Mr. Underhillâs Petition.
