MEMPHIS LAWYER REINSTATED BY SUPREME COURT
David Gregory Hays has been reinstated to the practice of law by Order of the Tennessee Supreme
Court entered December 22, 2011. Mr. Hays was temporarily suspended from the practice of law on November
10, 2011 by Order of the Supreme Court, due to Mr. Haysâ failure to respond to a complaint of misconduct filed
against him with the Board of Professional Responsibility. On November 16, 2011, Mr. Hays filed a Petition
for Reinstatement. On December 2, 2011, a hearing was conducted before a three-member Hearing Panel of the
Board of Professional Responsibility. On December 14, 2011, the Hearing Panel entered its Order
recommending that the temporary suspension be dissolved. The Supreme Court dissolved Mr. Haysâ temporary
suspension by Order filed December 22, 2011.
