BEDFORD COUNTY LAWYER REINSTATED
On December 6, 2019, the Supreme Court of Tennessee reinstated Christopher Paul Westmoreland to
active practice provided he retains a practice monitor during his remaining probationary period and does not
incur any new complaints of misconduct that relate to conduct occurring during the period of suspension. Mr.
Westmoreland had been suspended by the Supreme Court of Tennessee on October 16, 2019, for a period of
nine (9) months, with one (1) month active suspension and the remainder on probation, pursuant to Tennessee
Supreme Court Rule 9, Section 12.2. Mr. Westmoreland filed a Petition for Reinstatement to the practice of law
pursuant to Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, Section 30.4c. The Board found the Petition satisfactory and
submitted an Order of Reinstatement to the Court.
