ANDERSON COUNTY LAWYER REINSTATED BY SUPREME COURT
Michael W. Ritter has been reinstated to the practice of law by Order of the Tennessee Supreme Court
entered March 3, 2011. Mr. Ritter was temporarily suspended from the practice of law by Order of the
Supreme Court on January 31, 2011, for failing to respond to a complaint of misconduct. On February 4,
2011, Mr. Ritter filed a Petition for Dissolution of the Temporary Suspension. On February 24, 2011, a
Hearing Panel entered a recommendation that the temporary suspension be dissolved due to Mr. Ritterâs
submission of a response to the disciplinary complaint. The temporary suspension was dissolved pursuant to
the Supreme Courtâs Order of March 3, 2011.
