PUBLIC CENSURE

The above complaint was filed against Angeia âJoy Hopson, #22500, an attorney licensed

to practice law in Tennessee, alleging certain acts Of misconduct. Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9,

the Board of Professional Responsibility considered these matters at its meeting-on March '11,

201 6.

In September of 2015, Ms IâIopsonâs license was suspended for failure to pay the

Professional Privilege Tax. On October 30, 2015, Ms. Hopson. appeared in court representing a

defendant in criminal case. Ms. Hepson continued pitaetieing law for two more Weeks, when a

colleague drew her attention again to the admiriistrative suspension. M's Hopsonâs- license was

returned to active status on November 17, 2015.
