TEXAS LAWYER CENSURED
On September 8, 2008, the Tennessee Supreme Court entered an Order publically censuring Douglas R.
Dadisman, who practices law in San Antonio, Texas.
The Board of Professional Responsibility filed for Discipline against Mr. Dadisman pursuant to Rule 9
of the Rules of the Supreme Court of Tennessee. Mr. Dadisman submitted a Conditional Guilty Plea in which
Mr. Dadisman admitted failing to return telephone calls of a client but stated that the failure occurred at a time
when Mr. Dadisman was caring for his terminally ill father. Mr. Dadismanâs actions violated the Rules of
Professional Conduct. For these violations, the Tennessee Supreme Court publically censured Mr. Dadisman.
A Public Censure is a rebuke and warning to the attorney, but does not limit the attorneyâs ability to practice
law.
