FRANKLIN LAWYER CENSURED
On November 18, 2008, Timothy John Wibking, of Franklin, Tennessee, received a Public Censure
from the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Tennessee Supreme Court.
The Respondent violated the Rules of Professional Conduct by engaging in conduct that reflects
adversely on the lawyerâs honesty, trustworthiness, or fitness as a lawyer. The Respondent was charged with a
misdemeanor. The Respondent successfully completed the terms of pre-trial diversion and the charge was
expunged pursuant to TCA 40-32-101(c)(1). The Respondentâs actions violated Rule(s) of Professional
Conduct 8.4(b).
For these violations, the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee
publicly censured Timothy John Wibking. A Public Censure is a rebuke and warning to the attorney, but it does
not affect the attorneyâs ability to practice law.
