MEMPHIS LAWYER PUBLICLY CENSURED
On August 28, 2007, the Tennessee Supreme Court publicly censured William H. Thomas, Jr.
for being held in contempt of court by the Chancery Court of Tennessee for the Thirtieth Judicial District at
Memphis for violating an injunction order dated May 10, 2005 and violating a June 3, 2005 contempt order.
A public censure is a form of discipline that declares the conduct of the lawyer improper but does not
limit the lawyerâs right to practice law.
