April 12, 1991
Public censure on April 12, 1991. He was employed to represent a client on a fire insurance
claim. He was notified by the trial judge, adversary counsel and his client's former counsel to be
present in court on May 21, 1990. The trial judge informed Love that the case was subject to
dismissal if he did not appear. Love did not appear in court on May 21, 1990 and the case was
dismissed for failure to prosecute. He filed a motion to set aside the dismissal order, but failed to
appear at the Court's civil docket call and the motion was denied. Love failed to notify his client
of the dismissal. He also showed a pattern of neglect in previous matters.
