PUBLIC CENSURE
The above complaint was ï¬led against Philip Rubin Strong, an attorney licensed to
practice law in Tennessee, alleging certain acts of misconduct. Pnrauant to Tom. Sup. Ct. R. 9,
the Board of Professional Responsibility considered these matters at its meeting on December 6,
2013.
On January 7, 2013, Respondent paid a personal eapenae from funds in his trust account
resulting in an overdraft. On January 22, 2013, Respondent issued a check to his client for funds
collected for his client, but there Were insufï¬cient funds in the trust account,
By the aforementioned acts, Philip Rubin Strong has violated Rule of lârofesaiontï¬
Conduct Rule 1.15 (safekeeping ï¬uids) and is hereby Publicly Censored for this violation.
