NASHVILLE LAWYER CENSURED

On April 11, 2016, Susan Marie Reilly, an attorney licensed to practice law in Tennessee, received a
Public Censure from the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Tennessee Supreme Court. Additionally,
as a condition of the Public Censure, Ms. Reilly shall be required to refund $1,705 in fees to her former client
within one hundred eighty (180) days of issuance of the Public Censure.

Ms. Reilly left the State of Tennessee without informing her client and took no further action to
prosecute her client’s case. Ms. Reilly thereafter terminated her representation without assisting her client in
securing new counsel and failed to promptly surrender the client’s file or refund unearned fees to the client.

By these acts, Susan Marie Reilly has violated Rules of Professional Conduct 1.3 (diligence), 1.4
(communication), 1.5 (fees), and 1.16 (terminating representation), and is hereby Publicly Censured for these
violations.

A Public Censure is a rebuke and warning to the attorney, but it does not affect the attorney’s ability to
practice law.
