SHELBY COUNTY LAWYER CENSURED

On January 5, 2022, Christopher Lynn Taylor, an attorney licensed to practice law in Tennessee,
received a Public Censure from Supreme Court of Tennessee conditioned upon payment of fees to the Board of
Professional Responsibility.

Mr. Taylor failed to respond to a motion for summary judgment and failed to timely inform his client of
the pending motion and his failure to respond. Mr. Taylor entered a Conditional Guilty Plea admitting his
conduct violated Tennessee Rules of Professional Conduct 1.3 (diligence); 1.4 (communication); 3.2
(expediting litigation); and 8.4(d) (conduct that is prejudicial to the administration of justice).

A Public Censure is a rebuke and warning to the attorney, but it does not affect the attorney’s ability to
practice law
