ORDER OF REINSTATEMENT
This rnatter is before the Court, pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 30.4(c), upon a
Petition for Reinstatement filed on April 26,2022, by the Petitioner, John Louis Dolan, Jr.
Mr. Dolan was suspended from the practice of law by Order of this Court on March 24,
2022, for a period of one (1) year with thirty (30) days active suspension. A Notice of
Submission was filed by the Chief Disciplinary Counsel indicating the petition is
satisfactory to the Board, that Mr. Dolan has satisfied all conditions set forth in the Order
imposing discipline, and that he is eligible for reinstatement.
From all of which, the Court grants the Petition for Reinstatement.
IT IS, THEREFORE, CONSIDERED, ORDERED, ADJUDGED, AND
DECREED BY THE COURT:
1. The Petitioner, John Louis Dolan, Jr., is hereby reinstated to the practice of law
in the State of Tennessee pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9,§ 30.4(c).
2. Mr. Dolan shall pay to the Clerk of this Court the costs incurred herein within
ninety (90) days of the entry of this Order, for which execution may issue if
necessary.
3. Mr. Dolan, at his cost, if any, shall engage the services of a Practice Monitor
within thirty(30)days of this reinstatement taking effect, who shall be selected
and approved in accordance with Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 12.9(c). The Practice
Monitor shall meet with Mr. Dolan monthly and assess Mr. Dolan's caseload,
case management, timeliness of performing tasks, adequacy ofcommunication
with clients, and accounting procedures. The Practice Monitor shall provide a
monthly written report of Mr. Dolan's progress to the Board of Professional
Responsibility. Mr. Dolan shall utilize the practice monitor during the entirety
of his probationary period.
4. In the event Mr. Dolan fails to meet any condition of probation as ordered in
the Order of Enforcement filed March 24, 2022, the probation may be revoked
pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R.9,§ 14.2.
5. The Board of Professional Responsibility shall cause notice of this
reinstatement to be published as required by Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 28.11.
