PUBLIC CENSURE

The above complaint was filed against Jonathan Ryan Johnson, an attorney licensed to practice
law in Tennessee, alleging certain acts of misconduct. Ifursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct R. 9, the Board, of
Professional Responsibility considered this matter at its meeting on June 9, 2017.
Mr. Johnson failed to competently represent his client’s interest in the entry of a Qualified

Domestic Relations Order after the client’s divorce had concluded, Respondent failed to diligently
represent his client or expedite the litigation in his client’s post~divorce case and no Qualified Domestic
Relations Order has been approved or filed with the court in the 30 months since the divorce concluded.

By these acts, Jonathan Ryan Johnson has violated Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1
(competence), 1,3 (diligence), 3.2 (expediting litigation), and 8.4(d) (conduct prejudicial to the
administration ofjustice), and is hereby Publicly Censored for these violations.
