PUBLIC CENSURE

The above complaint was ï¬led against Jonathan Ryan Johnson, an attorney licensed to practice
law in Tennessee, alleging certain acts of misconduct. Ifursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct R. 9, the Board, of
Professional Responsibility considered this matter at its meeting on June 9, 2017.
Mr. Johnson failed to competently represent his clientâs interest in the entry of a Qualiï¬ed

Domestic Relations Order after the clientâs divorce had concluded, Respondent failed to diligently
represent his client or expedite the litigation in his clientâs post~divorce case and no Qualiï¬ed Domestic
Relations Order has been approved or ï¬led with the court in the 30 months since the divorce concluded.

By these acts, Jonathan Ryan Johnson has violated Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1
(competence), 1,3 (diligence), 3.2 (expediting litigation), and 8.4(d) (conduct prejudicial to the
administration ofjustice), and is hereby Publicly Censored for these violations.
