ORDER OF ENFORCEMENT
This cause is before the Court upon a Notice of Submission filed by the Board
of Professional Responsibility providing notice pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 23,
of the affidavit of Larry Joe Hinson, Jr., consenting to disbarment. Mr. Hinson is an
attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Tennessee and. is subject to the
disciplinary jurisdiction of the Supreme Court of Tennessee, pursuant to Rule 9 of
the Rules of the Supreme Court of Tennessee.
The record reï¬ects Mr. Hinson, currently the subject of a disciplinary
investigation, delivered to the Board of Professional Responsibility an affidavit in
compliance with Tenn. Sup. Ct, R. 9, § 23.1, acknowledging the material facts set
forth in Board File No. 58330â6âKB were true and consenting to disbarrnent for his
misconduct.
On October 18, 2018, Mr. Hinson was temporarily suspended by this Court
pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 12.3, (Case No. M2018â01898âSCâBARâBP) for
misappropriating funds and posing a threat of substantial harm to the public. Mr.
Hinson has not requested, nor been granted, reinstatement.
IT IS, THEREFORE, CONSIDERED, ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND
DECREED BY THE COURT THAT:
(1) Larry Joe Hinson is hereby disbarred. from the practice of law in
Tennessee.
(2) This Order of Enforcement shall be a matter of public record.
(3) Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 23.3, the affidavit ï¬led by Larry Joe
Hinson shall not be publicly disclosed. or made available for use in any other
proceeding except upon further Order of this Court.
(4) Upon entry of this Order, the Order of Temporary Suspension, (Case No.
M2018â01898-SC-BAR-BP), entered October 18, 2018, is hereby dissolved.
(5) Larry Joe Hinson shall comply with the requirements and obligations of
disbarred attorneys as established in Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, §28.
(6) The Board of Professional Responsibility shall cause notice of this
disbarment to be published in accordance with Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 28.11.
(7) Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 31, Mr. Hinson shall pay to the Clerk
of this Court the costs incurred herein, for which execution may issue if necessary.
(8) Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R, 9, § 281, this Order shall be effective upon
entry.
