Suspended for two (2) years by order entered September 20, 1978, through November 9, 1978.
He was convicted on September 15, 1976 by the U.S. District Court in New York for an offense
that had occurred in Tennessee on the charge of submitting false writing document to the Small
Business Administration for the purpose of obtaining money, pursuant to the provision of the
Small Business Act, and was sentenced to one year but the imposing of sentence was suspended
and he was placed on unsupervised probation. After a Certificate of Conviction was filed with
the Tennessee Supreme Court, Hopfl was immediately suspended by order entered November
10, 1976 and the matter was referred to the Board for further proceedings.
