CHATTANOOGA LAWYER REINSTATED
TO PRACTICE OF LAW BY SUPREME COURT
By Order of the Supreme Court entered July 10, 2003, Michael Lee West was reinstated to
the practice of law on the condition that he complete three additional hours of ethics Continuing
Legal Education each of the first three years after his reinstatement. The Supreme Court had
entered an Order on November 26, 2002, reinstating Mr. West to the practice of law on the
conditions that he successfully complete the Tennessee bar examination and complete the additional
Continuing Legal Education. Mr. West successfully completed the bar exam given in February,
2003. Mr. West had been disbarred by the Supreme Court on November 11, 1982.
