malpractice case in excess of that allowed by Tennessee Code Annotated; failed to appropriately
communicate with his client regarding the progress and status of the client's case; failed to act
with reasonable diligence in representing his client; and failed to explain the matter to his client
to the extent necessary to permit his client to make informed decisions.
