IN THE SUPREME COURT OF TENNESSEE
AT JACKSON
November 7, 2018 Session

GERALD STANLEY GREEN v. BOARD OF PROFESSIONAL
RESPONSIBILITY

Chancery Court for Shelby County
No. CH-17-0341

No. W2017-02358-SC-R3-BP

JUDGMENT

This case was heard upon the record on appeal from the Chancery Court for
Shelby County, the briefs of the parties, and argument of counsel. Upon consideration
thereof, this Court concludes that that substantial and material evidence supports the
Hearing Panel’s findings that Gerald Stanley Green violated RPC 1.3, RPC 5.5(a), RPC
8.4(a), RPC 8.4(d), and twice violated RPC 1.4 and that substantial and material evidence
also supports the Hearing Panel’s decision to suspend Mr. Green’s license to practice law
for six months, with thirty days served on active suspension and the remainder served on
probation with conditions.

In accordance with the opinion filed herein, it is, therefore, ordered and adjudged
that the judgment of the Chancery Court for Shelby County upholding the Hearing
Panel’s decision is affirmed.

The costs of this cause are taxed to Gerald Stanley Green, for which execution
may issue if necessary.
