Public censure on March 18, 1997. He represented a client in a post-conviction and failed to
timely file a brief on the client's behalf. After he failed to file a brief and failed to contact the
Clerk's Office after numerous requests, the Court of Criminal Appeals issued a show cause order.
He did not show at the show cause hearing and the Court issued a capias for his arrest, again
ordering him to appear. When he did appear, the Court held him in contempt of court and
sentenced him to 2 days confinement, with the sentence suspended.
