On December 9, 2013, the Court entered an Order of Temporary Suspension
pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, ยง 4.3, suspending the law license of David Gregory Hays
due to Mr. Hays' failure to respond to the Board of Professional Responsibility
concerning a complaint of misconduct. On December 27, 2013, Mr. Hays filed a Petition
to Dissolve Order of Temporary Suspension. On January 7, 2014, a hearing was
conducted before a Hearing Panel of the Board of Professional Responsibility.
On January 9, 2014, the Hearing Panel entered its Report and Recommendation,
recommending that the temporary suspension imposed by the Order of Temporary
Suspension be dissolved. A copy of the Report and Recommendation of the 4.3 Hearing
Panel is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
It is, therefore, ORDERED, ADJUDGED and DECREED that:
1. The temporary suspension imposed upon David Gregory Hays by Order of
Temporary Suspension filed December 9, 2013, is hereby dissolved.
2. Mr. Hays shall reimburse and pay to the Board of Professional
Responsibility the costs and expenses of this proceeding in the amount of $88.00 and
shall pay to the Clerk of this Court the costs incurred herein, for all of which execution
shall issue, if necessary.
