MONROE COUNTY LAWYER CENSURED

On January 24, 2011, Joseph H. Crabtree, Jr., an attorney licensed to practice law in Tennessee, received
a Public Censure from the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Tennessee Supreme Court.

Mr. Crabtree signed an agreed order without his client's permission which was filed in court, and he
failed to inform his client of the agreed order after he signed it. Mr. Crabtree did not inform his client that he
was required to be present for a hearing to determine the sanctions for failing to abide by the terms of the agreed
order. Mr. Crabtree later satisfied his obligations to his client and the opposing party.

By the aforementioned acts, Joseph H. Crabtree, Jr. has violated Rule of Professional Conduct 1.2
(scope of representation), 1.3 (diligence), 1.4 (communication), 3.3 (candor to the tribunal), and 8.4(d)
(misconduct) and is hereby Publicly Censured for these violations.

A Public Censure is a rebuke and warning to the attorney, but it does not affect the attorney’s ability to
practice law.
