KNOX COUNTY LAWYER CENSURED
On January 30, 2024, Mark Steven Graham, an attorney licensed to practice law in Tennessee, received
a Public Censure from the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Tennessee Supreme Court.
Mr. Grahamâs law license is currently suspended. He filed a pro se lawsuit and identified himself in the
pleading as a âlawyerâ and âmember of the Bar of the State of Tennessee.â Mr. Graham also signed the
pleading by using his name, âEsq.,â and his Board of Professional Responsibility licensure number, along with
the designation that he was pro se.
By these acts, Mark Steven Graham, has violated Rules of Professional Conduct 7.1 (communications
concerning a lawyerâs services), 3.4 (fairness to opposing party), and 8.4(g) (failure to comply with court order)
and is hereby Publicly Censured for these violations.
A Public Censure is a rebuke and warning to the attorney, but it does not affect the attorneyâs ability to
practice law.
