BLOUNT COUNTY LAWYER REINSTATED AND PLACED ON PROBATION
Effective June 20, 2017, the Supreme Court of Tennessee reinstated Charles David Deas to the practice
of law. Mr. Deas had been suspended by the Supreme Court of Tennessee on April 17, 2017, for a period of six
(6) months with sixty (60) days to be served as an active suspension, and the remainder on probation. Mr. Deas
filed a Petition for Reinstatement to the practice of law pursuant to Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, Section
30.4(c). The Board found that the Petition was satisfactory and an Order of Reinstatement was entered by the
Court on June 20, 2017.
