PUBLIC CENSURE

The above complaint was filed against Marti Lee Kaufman, an attorney licensed to practice

law in Tennessee, alleging certain acts of misconduct. Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, the Board

of Professional Responsibility considered these matters at its meeting on December 8, 2017.

Ms. Kaufman practiced law for seven business days after her law license was

administratively suspended for non-compliance with continuing legal education requirements.

By the aforementioned acts, Ms. Kaufman is in violation of Rule 5.5 (unauthorized practice

of law) of the Rules of Professional Conduct and is hereby Publicly Censured or these violations.
