NASHVILLE ATTORNEY TRANSFERRED TO DISABILITY INACTIVE STATUS
On December 12, 2002, the Supreme Court of Tennessee issued an Order transferring
Robert C. Marks, of Nashville, Tennessee, to disability inactive status. Section 21, Rule 9,
Rules of the Tennessee, provides that if a lawyer is so incapacitated that he cannot
adequately practice law, his law license may be transferred to disability inactive status. In
this case, Mr. Marks petitioned the Court for the transfer. Mr. Marks shall remain on disability
inactive status until such time as the Court adjudges that his disability has been removed and
his current status is returned pursuant to Rule 9, Section 21, to that of being on temporary
suspension pending the outcome of his disciplinary proceeding.
