LAWYER DISBARRED
On February 2, 2010, Jeffrey L. Jones, of Dandridge, Tennessee, was disbarred by Order of the
Tennessee Supreme Court.
Mr. Jones delivered to the Board of Professional Responsibility an affidavit consenting to disbarment
because he could not successfully defend himself on charges filed against him in the Boardâs Petition for
Discipline filed on November 18, 2008.
Mr. Jones must comply with the requirements of Section 19 of Rule 9, Rules of the Supreme Court,
should he seek reinstatement of his Tennessee law license and may not resume the practice of law until
reinstated by further Order of the Tennessee Supreme Court. Mr. Jones must further comply with Section 18 of
Rule 9, Rules of the Supreme Court, regarding the obligations and responsibilities of disbarred attorneys.
