ORDER OF REINSTATEMENT
This matter is before the Court, pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 30.4(c), upon a
Petition for Reinstatement filed on August 15, 2014, by the Petitioner, James Michael
Marshall. Mr. Marshall was suspended from the practice of law by Order of this Court
on June 13, 2014, for a period of sixty (60) days. A Notice of Submission was filed by
the Chief Disciplinary Counsel indicating Mr. Marshall has satisfied all conditions set
forth in the Order imposing discipline except payment of the Board's costs and expenses
in the amount of $1,749.16. Mr. Marshall has entered into a payment plan with the Board
to pay monthly installments of $300.00, and upon that agreement, the petition is
satisfactory to the Board, and Mr. Marshall is eligible for reinstatement.
From all of which the Court grants the Petition for Reinstatement.
IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED BY THE
COURT:
1. The Petitioner, James Michael Marshall, is hereby reinstated to the practice
of law in the State of Tennessee pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, §30.4(c).
2. Mr. Marshall shall pay to the Clerk of this Court the costs incurred herein
within ninety (90) days of the entry of this Order, for all of which execution may issue if
necessary.
3. The Board of Professional Responsibility shall cause notice of this
reinstatement to be published as required by Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 28.11.
