NASHVILLE LAWYER SUSPENDED

On July 8, 2009, Fernando Jose Ramos, of Nashville, Tennessee, was suspended for three (3) years by
Order of the Tennessee Supreme Court.

The Board of Professional Responsibility filed a Petition for Discipline against Fernando Jose Ramos
pursuant to Rule 9 of the Rules of the Supreme Court of Tennessee alleging that Mr. Ramos violated rules of
professional conduct regarding competence and neglect in Mr. Ramos’ representation of clients’ bankruptcy and
criminal cases.

Mr. Ramos submitted a Conditional Guilty Plea agreeing to a three (3) year suspension.

Mr. Ramos must comply with Section 18 of Rule 9, Rules of the Supreme Court, regarding the
obligations and responsibilities of suspended attorneys.
