ORDER REMOVING DISABILITY INACTIVE STATUS
This matter is before the Court, pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 27.7, upon a
Petition for Reinstatement Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, Section 27.7, filed on
November 18, 2015. Mr. Webb's law license was transferred to disability inactive status
by Order of this Court on October 16, 2008.
The Board has filed a response stating that there is no objection to removing Mr.
Webb from disability inactive status; however, the Board notes that at the time Mr. Webb
was placed on disability inactive status, there were thirteen (13) open investigative files
pending with the Board of Professional Responsibility.
The Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education also filed a response,
stating that Mr. Webb is not currently in compliance with Tennessee Supreme Court Rule
21 concerning mandatory legal education for attorneys.
IT IS, THEREFORE, CONSIDERED, ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED
BY THE COURT THAT:
1. Timothy P. Webb shall be removed from disability inactive status.
2. Mr. Webb shall not be returned to active status until resolution of any
pending disciplinary proceedings, pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 27.7(c). Mr. Webb
also must satisfy any outstanding continuing legal education obligation prior to any
subsequent reinstatement to active status.
3. Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 31.3, Mr. Webb shall pay to the Board of
Professional Responsibility the expenses and costs of this matter in the amount of $40.00
and, in addition, shall pay to the Clerk of this Court the costs incurred herein, within ninety
(90) days of the entry ofthis Order, for all of which execution may issue if necessary.
