DAVIDSON COUNTY LAWYER DISBARRED

On August 9, 2011, the Tennessee Supreme Court disbarred Bobby Dean Davis, a Davidson County
attorney, pursuant to Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, Sections 1.3, 1.4, 1.7, 1.15, 4.1, 8.1(b) and 8.4. Mr.
Davis violated disciplinary rules by misappropriating funds, making false statements and failing to respond to
the Board of Professional Responsibility. Mr. Davis’ actions violated Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 8, Rules
of Professional Conduct 1.3 (Diligence), 1.4 (Communication), 1.7 (Conflict), 1.15 (Safekeeping Funds), 4.1
(Truthfulness and Candor in Statements to Others), 8.1(b) (Disciplinary Matters), and 8.4 (Misconduct).

Mr. Davis was further ordered to pay the expenses and costs of the disciplinary proceedings against him,
pursuant to Rule 9, Section 24.3, of the Rules of the Supreme Court, and fully comply in all respects with the
requirements and obligations of disbarred attorneys as set forth in Rule 9, Section 18.1 of the Rules of the
Supreme Court.
