LAW LICENSE OF CLEVELAND ATTORNEY SUSPENDED
On February 25, 2008, the Supreme Court of Tennessee entered an Order suspending the law
license of Virgil Duane Parker for a period of eleven (11) months, twenty-nine (29) days, retroactive to March
28, 2003.
Mr. Parker was licensed to practice law in Maryland and Tennessee. On October 4, 2005, the
Maryland Court of Appeals filed an Opinion and Order disbarring Parker. The Board of Professional
Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee petitioned the Court to impose reciprocal discipline against
Parker. A Special Master appointed by the Supreme Court recommended Parker be suspended for eleven (11)
months, twenty-nine (29) days. By Order filed in the Supreme Court on February 25, 2008, the Supreme Court
adopted the Special Masterâs recommendation and suspended Parker for eleven (11) months, twenty-nine (29)
days, retroactive to March 28, 2003.
