ORDER OF ENFORCEMENT
This matter is before the Court upon a Petition for Discipline filed by the Board of
Professional Responsibility (Board) against M. Josiah Hoover, III, on March 26, 2012;
upon the Answer to Petition for Discipline, filed May 30, 2012; upon the Judgment of the
Hearing Panel entered August 27, 2013; upon consideration and approval by the Board
on September 13, 2013; upon expiration of the appeal period with no appeal taken; and
upon the entire record in this cause.
From all of which the Court approves the Judgment of the Hearing Panel and
adopts the Judgment of the Hearing Panel as this Court's Order.
It is, therefore, ordered, adjudged and decreed by the Court that:
M. Josiah Hoover, III is hereby suspended from the practice of law for one
(1)
(1) year, to run concurrently with his disbarment on November 16, 2012, pursuant to
Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 4.1.
Mr. Hoover shall comply in all aspects with Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, §§ 18 and
(2)
19 regarding the obligations and responsibilities of disbarred attorneys.
Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 18.5, this Order shall be effective ten

(10) days after the date of entry.
(4)
Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 24.3, Mr. Hoover shall pay to the Board
of Professional Responsibility the expenses and costs of this matter in the amount of
$2,345.13 and shall pay to the Clerk of this Court the costs incurred herein, within ninety
(90) days of the entry of this Order, for all of which execution may issue if necessary.

The Board of Professional Responsibility shall cause notice of this

discipline to be published as required by Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 18.10.
