IN THE SUPREME COURT OF TENNESSEE
AT NASHVILLE

IN RE: DANIEL FORREST WILKINS, BPR #025753
An Attorney Licensed to Practice Law in Tennessee
(Knox County)
________________________________

No. M2022-01283-SC-BAR-BP
BOPR No. 2022-3276-2-AW-12.3
________________________________

ORDER DISSOLVING TEMPORARY SUSPENSION

This matter is before the Court upon the Petition for Temporary Suspension
pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 12.3, filed by the Board of Professional
Responsibility on September 8, 2022. On September 15, 2022, an Order of
Temporary Suspension was entered based upon Daniel Forrest Wilkins’s failure to
respond to the Board. On October 4, 2022, Mr. Wilkins filed a Petition for
Dissolution of Order of Temporary Suspension and for Reinstatement to Practice
Law Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 12.3, stating he had fully responded to the
Board and is requesting dissolution of the temporary suspension.

On October 7, 2022, the Board filed a response with this Court. The Board’s
response states that the Board “admits Petitioner, on October 3, 2022, provided a
response to the Board’s prior requests for information which Disciplinary Counsel
has reviewed and deems responsive to the previous request.” The Board further
advised that a referral, pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 36.1(a)(1), had been made,
and Mr. Wilkins had “advised the Board that he is scheduled to meet with TLAP on
October 17, 2022.”

Because the Board admits that the reason for the temporary suspension of Mr.
Wilkins has now been resolved and Mr. Wilkins has scheduled an appointment with
the Tennessee Lawyer Assistance Program, there is no reason under Tenn. Sup. Ct.
R. 9, § 12.3 (d) to hold a hearing on the petition for dissolution of his temporary
suspension. Based upon the foregoing, Mr. Wilkins is entitled to immediate
dissolution of the temporary suspension.

IT IS, THEREFORE, CONSIDERED, ORDERED, ADJUDGED, AND
DECREED BY THE COURT THAT:
1. The temporary suspension imposed upon Daniel Forrest Wilkins by
Order of Temporary Suspension entered September 15, 2022, is hereby dissolved.

2. The Board may petition this Court for an Order of Temporary
Suspension in the event Daniel Forrest Wilkins fails to meet with the Tennessee
Lawyer Assistance Program as he has represented.

3. The Board of Professional Responsibility shall cause notice of this
reinstatement to be published as required by Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 28.11.
