HIXSON ATTORNEY SUSPENDED BY SUPREME COURT

By Order of the Supreme Court of Tennessee entered September 17, 2004, Shannon
Leigh Clark, a Hixson attorney, was suspended from the practice of law pursuant to Section 14
of Rule 9 of the Rules of the Supreme Court of Tennessee, pending further orders of the Court.
Ms. Clark’s suspension resulted from her plea of guilty in the United States District Court for the
Eastern District of Tennessee at Chattanooga on September 2, 2004, to one count of bankruptcy
fraud, 18 U.S.C. § 157. The Court further ordered that a formal disciplinary proceeding be
instituted in which the sole issue to be determined will be the extent of final discipline. Ms.
Clark will remain suspended pending resolution of that formal hearing.
