NASHVILLE ATTORNEY SUSPENDED

Neil R. Flit, a Nashville attorney, was suspended for thirty (30) days, beginning
December 10, 1998, by Order of the Tennessee Supreme Court filed October 28, 1998.
The Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee filed formal
charges against Mr. Flit alleging that he engaged in a conflict of interest by representing
one client adverse to an existing client; neglected clients’ cases; failed to communicate
with clients; and failed to accurately and timely respond to the Board of Professional
Responsibility regarding complaints of misconduct and failed to maintain the required
trust accounting records. Mr. Flit submitted a Conditional Guilty Plea which was
approved by the Board of Professional Responsibility and the Supreme Court of
Tennessee, therefore, Mr. Flit shall be suspended for thirty (30) days beginning
December 10, 1998. Mr. Flit shall also have a monitor who shall make monthly reports
to the Board of Professional Responsibility for a period of three months.
