Suspended for two (2) years by order entered March 27, 1997, beginning April 1, 1997 and
continuing until March 31, 1999. While serving as trustee for a trust from October 1983 until his
resignation on June 23, 1994, he borrowed money from the trust, without the knowledge or
permission of the trustor or beneficiary. Although he later repaid the money to the trust with an
additional $500 payment for interest, he did not pay money calculated as interest. He also
neglected to file tax returns for the trust during the 10 years he served as trustee. Brown reported
himself for his misconduct.
