KNOXVILLE LAWYER CENSURED
On August 12, 2009, Thomas F. DiLustro, licensed in Tennessee, received a Public Censure from the
Board of Professional Responsibility of the Tennessee Supreme Court.
On November 13, 2007, the Supreme Court entered an Order suspending Mr. DiLustro for thirty (30)
days and Ordered Mr. DiLustro to remain compliant with his two (2) year Tennessee Lawyerâs Assistance
Program (TLAP) Monitoring Agreement. By letter dated December 17, 2008, TLAP discharged Mr. DiLustro
from his TLAP Monitoring Agreement due to his substantial noncompliance.
Mr. DiLustroâs substantial noncompliance with his TLAP Monitoring Agreement as required by the
Supreme Courtâs November 13, 2007 Order violates Rule 8.4 of the Tennessee Rules of Professional Conduct
and Mr. DiLustro is hereby publicly censured for these violations. A Public Censure is a rebuke and warning to
the attorney, but it does not affect the attorneyâs ability to practice law.
