The above complaint wee. ï¬led against Michael F. Raffeitjr, an attotney licensed to practice
law in Tennesseegalleging certain acts ofmisconduct. Pursusntto' Suineme CourtRule 9, the Board
of Professional Responsibility considered these matters at its meeting on September 10J 20ml.
Respondent lateâ'ï¬led individual federal income tax retunis for the Steers ZOUl end'32004,
failed to ï¬le returns for years 2002-2003 and 2005â2007, despite receiving eï¬ensiOns, and éï¬ed a
tax lidbility for tax year 2004. While Respondent timely paid taxes for the other yeasts, additional
taXes Vieâre due because he ï¬led late returns. This resulted in Respondent-being disbarred from
practice before the IRS. According to Respondent, he has now hired an accountant and cured his ..
delinquencies by ï¬ling all of the returns and paying the RS.
By the aforementioned facts, Michael F. Raï¬feity, has violated Rules ofProfessional Conduct .
8.4(0) (misconduct) and is hereby Publicly Censured for these violations.
