KNOXVILLE LAWYER REINSTATED BY SUPREME COURT

Charles P. Carter, a Knoxville attorney, has been reinstated to the practice of law by Order of the
Tennessee Supreme Court entered on July 29, 2009. Mr. Carter was temporarily suspended from the practice of
law by Order of the Supreme Court on March 25, 2009, for failing to respond to a complaint of misconduct. On
July 6, 2009, Mr. Carter filed a Petition for Dissolution of Order of Temporary Suspension. A hearing was
conducted on July 20, 2009. On July 22, 2009, the Hearing Panel recommended that the temporary suspension
be dissolved. The temporary suspension was dissolved pursuant to the Supreme Court’s July 29, 2009 Order.
