MISSISSIPPI LAWYER DISBARRED
On December 1, 2008, Timothy R. Balducci, of New Albany, Mississippi, was disbarred by Order of the
Tennessee Supreme Court.
The Board of Professional Responsibility filed a Petition for Final Discipline against Timothy R.
Balducci, pursuant to Rule 9 of the Rules of the Supreme Court of Tennessee, following his pleading guilty to
one count of conspiracy to commit bribery of an elected state official in violation of 18 U.S.C. §371. Mr.
Balducci did not respond to the Petition and an Order of Default was taken. A Hearing Panel entered an Order
granting the Board a Judgment by default against the Respondent. Timothy R. Balducci is ordered to pay the
costs of the disciplinary proceedings.
Timothy R. Balducciâs actions violate the following Rule(s) of Professional Conduct: 8.4, Misconduct.
Timothy R. Balducci must comply with the requirements of Rule 9, § 19 of the Rules of the Supreme
Court should he seek reinstatement of his Tennessee law license and he may not resume practice until reinstated
by further order of this Court.
