NASHVILLE ATTORNEY DISBARRED
Carroll Thomas Strohm, a Nashville attorney, was disbarred by Order of the Tennessee Supreme
Court on November 30, 2004. Strohm was temporarily suspended from the practice of law since
July 2, 2003, and a petition for discipline was pending against him.
Strohm filed an affidavit consenting to disbarment on November 22, 2004. He acknowledged
that he could not successfully defend the petition for discipline.
A disbarred attorney may not apply for reinstatement for at least five years after the effective
date of disbarment. A formal public hearing must be conducted before a disbarred attorney can
be reinstated.
The Supreme Court of Tennessee makes the final determination on reinstatement of a disbarred
attorney.
