SHELBY COUNTY LAWYER CENSURED

On January 14, 2011, Paul Forrest Craig, an attorney licensed to practice law in Tennessee, received a
Public Censure from the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Tennessee Supreme Court.

For approximately a year, Mr. Craig misled his client into thinking that his cases were being litigated,
when in fact Mr. Craig never had filed a lawsuit. Mr. Craig failed to take reasonable action to prosecute his
client’s claims and failed to keep his client informed regarding the status of the cases. Moreover, Mr. Craig
misrepresented to his client the status of the cases and the work he had performed.

By the aforementioned acts, Paul Forrest Craig has violated Rule of Professional Conduct 1.3
(diligence), 1.4 (communication), and 8.4(c) (misconduct) and is hereby Publicly Censured for these violations.

A Public Censure is a rebuke and warning to the attorney, but it does not affect the attorney’s ability to
practice law.
