KNOXVILLE LAWYER REINSTATED BY SUPREME COURT
Steven Lee Williams, a Knoxville attorney, has been reinstated to the practice of law by Order of the
Tennessee Supreme Court entered on August 25, 2009. Mr. Williams was temporarily suspended from the
practice of law by Order of the Supreme Court on July 31, 2009, for failing to respond to a complaint of
misconduct. On August 7, 2009, Mr. Williams filed a Petition for Dissolution of Order of Temporary
Suspension. A hearing was conducted on August 19, 2009. On August 19, 2009, the Hearing Panel
recommended that the temporary suspension be dissolved. The temporary suspension was dissolved pursuant to
the Supreme Courtâs August 25, 2009 Order.
