The above complaint was ï¬led against Robin Jeffrey Gordon, an attorney licensed to

practice law in Tennessee, alleging certain acts of misconduct. Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9,

the Board of Professional Responsibility considered these matters at its meeting on September

21, 2012.

Respondent employed an attorney with a non-active Illinois law license, not licensed in

Tennessee, to work as a paralegal in his ofï¬ce. The employee held himself out to clients as an

attorney by signing two letters with detailed legal advice, providing three receipts which listed

himself as an âattorneyâ with a billable rate of $250, and providing a business oard identifying
