WILLIAMSON COUNTY LAWYER REINSTATED
By Order of the Tennessee Supreme Court entered February 28, 2024, Melissa Ann Baker was
reinstated to the active practice of law conditioned upon continuing compliance with the terms and conditions of
the Order of Enforcement entered February 6, 2023.
On February 6, 2023, Ms. Baker was suspended by the Supreme Court of Tennessee for three (3) years
with one (1) year to be served as an active suspension. Ms. Baker filed a Petition for Reinstatement pursuant to
Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, Section 30.4(c), on January 12, 2024. The Board found the Petition was
satisfactory and submitted an Order of Reinstatement to the Court.
