SEVIER COUNTY LAWYER CENSURED
On July 17, 2026, Robert Brandon White, an attorney licensed to practice law in Tennessee, received a
Public Censure from the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Tennessee Supreme Court.
Mr. White entered a no contact order as part of criminal charges he received in a personal domestic matter.
Five weeks later, Mr. White violated the terms of the no contact order.
In 2025, Mr. White missed four scheduled court dates in different courts, without notice to the Court or
opposing counsel, resulting in at least one notice to show cause and multiple rescheduled hearing dates.
By these acts, Robert Brandon White has violated Rules of Professional Conduct 1.3 (diligence), 3.4
(fairness to opposing party and counsel), 8.4(b), (d) and (g) (misconduct) and is hereby Publicly Censured for
these violations.
A Public Censure is a rebuke and warning to the attorney, but it does not affect the attorneyâs ability to
practice law.
