On July 10, 2026, Paul Forrest Craig, an attorney licensed to practice law in Tennessee, received a Public
Censure from the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Tennessee Supreme Court.
In the representation of a client in a property matter, Mr. Craig failed to communicate with his client and
failed to provide his client with a complete copy of his file for over five months despite multiple requests.
By these acts, Mr. Craig has violated Rules of Professional Conduct 1.4 (communication), 1.15
(safekeeping property and funds), and 1.16 (declining or terminating representation) and is hereby Publicly
Censured for these violations.
A Public Censure is a rebuke and warning to the attorney, but it does not affect the attorneyâs ability to
practice law.
