ORDER TRANSFERRING ATTORNEY TO
DISABILITY INACTIVE STATUS

This matter is before the Court upon a petition to transfer Ashley Denise Preston
to disability inactive status filed by Ashley Denise Preston pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R.
9, § 27.3 and upon a response from the Board of Professional Responsibility indicating it
has no objection to the requested transfer to disability inactive status.

Upon due consideration of documentation from Ms. Preston's medical care
provider, the Court concludes that Ashley Denise Preston is currently incapacitated from
continuing the practice of law.

IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED BY THE
COURT THAT:

1. The law license of Ashley Denise Preston shall be transferred to disability
inactive status for an indefinite period of time and until further orders of the Supreme
Court.

2. Ms. Preston shall be allowed to petition for reinstatement to active status
pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 27.7.

3. The Board shall publish notice of this transfer pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R.
9, §§ 27.5 and 28.11.

4. Pursuant to Tenn. Sup. Ct. R. 9, § 32.4, documents other than this Order
relating to Ms. Preston's disability proceeding shall not be public records and shall be
kept confidential.
