SHELBY COUNTY LAWYER TRANSFERRED TO ACTIVE STATUS
By Order of the Tennessee Supreme Court entered February 18, 2025, the law license of Gilbert Henry
Jacobson was transferred from disability inactive status to active status pursuant to Section 27.7 of Tennessee
Supreme Court Rule 9.
On June 18, 2019, Mr. Jacobson was placed on disability inactive status. Mr. Jacobson filed a Petition
for Reinstatement to active status on January 17, 2025, demonstrating he no longer has a disability. Pursuant to
the Order of the Tennessee Supreme Court, Mr. Jacobson is immediately eligible to resume the active practice
of law in the State of Tennessee.
